Your most interesting identity is the one you haven't met yet
I help people rediscover who they are when a defining chapter ends, and find purpose, freedom and community in what comes next. In three months, you'll know what matters to you now, have a rhythm that fits you, and be able to confidently answer "So what are you doing now?"
Coaching for the crossing
You bring the question. I bring the focus. We move at the pace that's yours.

BookThree months, together. We begin with a 90-minute opening session: time to understand where you are and what you're reaching for. From there, you have six 50-minute sessions, booked at your pace. Much of the work happens between sessions. Not homework, just small experiments in living differently. I call it funwork. Founding rate: $1,500 Or three monthly payments of $500. Available to my first five clients. It all starts with a conversation.
Get startedEvery ending is also a threshold.
I've spent my whole career at beginnings and endings. I've opened and closed businesses, led rebrands, built the community around an app in development, and founded a company three weeks into a pandemic. I've never been hired for the steady state. I'm brought in when something is starting or finishing, to bring order to the uncertainty and stay until it holds.
That work led me to change management, then conflict management. Along the way I learned something: organizations don't feel change. People do. They feel it first, and often alone. That's what drew me to coaching.
Now I work with people in identity thresholds, the space between who you were and who you're becoming. This isn't therapy, and it isn't about fixing the past. It's about walking with you through the crossing, from one version of yourself to the next.
Let's talk about what comes next
A sample coaching to see if this feels right for where you are.
“It was wonderful working with Virginia who held a compassionate, safe space for me to ask empowering questions and find answers to my life's new trajectory. I truly felt heard and understood. I came out of my session with new insights and clarity as to what I needed to do next. I am deeply grateful for the supportive experience.”
What people ask
How is this different from therapy?
Therapy often looks back, at what happened and what needs healing. Coaching looks forward. We work with who you're becoming, carrying everything you've lived along with you. Both are valuable. Many people do both. This is coaching. If you need therapeutic support, I'll help you find the right person.
How long does this take?
It depends on you and the crossing you're in. It starts with a conversation. If it feels right, we commit to a few months together. That's long enough for the crossing to take shape. Some stay on well beyond that. We design this journey together.
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That's exactly where we begin. You don't need answers to start. You need space for the questions to surface, and someone to witness what emerges.
Is it too late for me?
The people I work with aren't starting over. They're starting from here. What they find is often the most interesting version of themselves yet.
What happens in a session?
You bring what's on your mind: a decision, a feeling you can't name, a question that keeps returning. I bring the focus. I listen closely. I ask the questions that open things up. I reflect back what I'm hearing, including what's underneath it. Sometimes we explore. Sometimes we get practical. Often it's both. You leave with more clarity than you came in with, and usually one next step that's yours to take.

What kinds of transitions do you coach people through?
Any ending that leaves you asking who am I now? Often it's a career ending, retirement, a divorce, children leaving home, or the end of a long role or caregiving season. If you're not sure whether yours fits, let's talk.
